Late November 2026
halló Iceland
Iceland in winter is something else. Lava fields, black sand beaches, glacier valleys and hot springs steaming into the cold air. Five days that balance adventure with calm, big landscapes with cosy evenings, and proper winter magic.
Five Days of Ice, Fire + Winter Adventure
This is Iceland at its best. Explore trips are for people who want to get stuck in without feeling dragged around. You get real experiences, normal pacing and comfortable places to stay, with enough time to actually enjoy each spot rather than racing through it.
This one is full of variety, and the perfect balance of thrill and relaxation, designed for those seeking an authentic Icelandic experience. Crisp days outdoors, warm evenings inside, and moments that remind you how good a short break can feel when it is well planned and gently paced.
The Route
Day 1: Reykjavik arrival
Arrive and check into a central Reykjavik hotel, close to cafés, the harbour and everything you might want to wander to. At 5:30 PM, meet your guide and the group for a relaxed welcome chat and dinner. It is an easy way to settle in and start the trip on a warm note.
Day 2: Golden Circle and the Blue Lagoon
We visit Thingvellir National Park, watch geysers erupt at Geysir and feel the power of Gullfoss waterfall. By afternoon, we head toward Hveragerdi before ending the day at the Blue Lagoon. Warm, mineral water, volcanic scenery and a very soothing finish.
Day 3: South Coast and Glacier Walk
A classic Iceland day. We see Seljalandsfoss and Skogafoss, two of Iceland’s most famous waterfalls, then head to Sólheimajökull for a guided glacier walk. Crampons, ice formations and views over Vatnajökull. Afterwards we settle into a cosy countryside hotel for eve.
Day 4: Glacier Lagoon, Diamond Beach and Viking Feast
We explore Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon by boat, drifting between floating icebergs, before stopping at Diamond Beach where ice washes onto black sand. In the evening, we return to Reykjavik for a firelit Viking dinner full of Icelandic flavours and lively storytelling.
Day 5: Whale Watching and goodbyes
A morning whale watching trip from Reykjavik’s harbour. Humpbacks, dolphins and seabirds when conditions allow. You then have a little time in the city before transfers to the airport. A short, refreshing winter adventure that feels like exactly what you needed.

Who You'll Be Here With
A small, easygoing group of people in their 30s and 40s who’ve stopped waiting for their mates to commit and decided to book something good for themselves.
Most come solo, one or two bring a friend, but everyone ends up on the same wavelength quickly - relaxed, friendly and here for a great trip without any of the awkward bits.
There’s no forced bonding, no games, no “tell us a fun fact about yourself.” (thing like that give us the ick!) Just normal people who like travelling, good food and days that feel well planned without being over‑planned.
Conversations feel natural, dinners feel easy, and by the end it usually feels more like travelling with new mates than joining a tour.
